We are a small Managed Service Provider (MSP) business based in Atlantic Canada, dedicated
to delivering top-notch IT support and services to our clients. Our mission is to ensure the
smooth operation of our clients’ IT infrastructure, allowing them to focus on their core business
activities.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Technical Support Specialist to join
our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, possess strong problem-
solving skills, and have a desire to learn and grow within the IT field. This role involves providing
technical assistance to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring
optimal performance of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
 Provide first-level technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access tools.
 Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
 Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, and
other peripherals.
 Perform software installations, updates, and patches.
 Document and track client issues and resolutions in our ticketing system.
 Assist with the deployment and management of IT infrastructure projects.
 Collaborate with senior technical staff to escalate and resolve complex issues.
 Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.

Qualifications:

 A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as post-secondary education in IT or a related field, is a
plus.
 Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Prior experience in a technical support role or customer service is an asset but not required.
Preferred Skills:
 Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
 Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
 Experience with remote desktop tools and support software.
 Understanding of IT security best practices.
